Looking for a Bible Software?
E-Sword is a Free Bible Software that could be downloaded for free in the net. It has different module where you can see different dictionary, bible version, commentary and others. They give free download as well as some paid modules. But most of the items for downloads are free of charge. This is very helpful in conducting Bible Study and in bible research such as finding verses, looking for a particular personalities. etc. The program can be easily install in computers. This program is only applicable to windows based computer.

In addition, nowadays there are lot of bible software that can be downloaded using the Android Phones and iPhone, You can use the search function of your mobile phone to search for great software. You may just put the word Bible and they will give you lots of option.
But i can say that e-sword is a really user friendly software. We hope to see a MAC version of E-Sword in the future.

HELP! Bible Module of Ang Biblia (TAB) and other tagalog ver HELP!
does the THE WORD has a bible module in Tagalog language and other tagalog versions? if not, can i convert my tagalog modules from e-sword to use it in THE WORD? thank you! and the help will be much appreciated! thank you very much!

EDIT: I was mistaken. We have the Ang Biblia for Cebuano, not Tagalog. If you know of a public domain source to make the Tagalog, let us know. Is it under copyright?
EDIT2: It will be ready and uploaded soon. Keep an eye on the website. We only have the 1905 version.

Because they are newer, if they have copyrights, those copyrights are still in effect. In fact, it may be that the 1905 Tagalog version has only been out of copyright for 9 years or so. If you like, you can check these copyrights and reply back. I know we have the Cebuano ready to be uploaded. Not sure when that will be. By the way, do you speak any/all of these languages? If so, would you be willing to help proofread some of these modules to make sure they are correct? Since I don't speak them, it is hard for me to proofread them, if not impossible.

Hope you're doing Ok. Thanks for all the hard work on theWord and for keeping it free. I have one question. Im currently working on a revised edition of our Tagalog Bible here in the Philippines. I've been a pastor for a while now, and through theWord, I think I have the sufficient tools necessary to produce a whole new translation of our Tagalog Bible and share it for free and I am thinking if its a good idea to update our Tagalog Bible module with my work, one book at a time. Like right now, I've done John and Mark's gospel and currently working on Luke. If I merge them with the old Tagalog module and update them as I go, would you accept the updates till all 66 books of the Bible have been updated? I know its a bit slow but it should pick up in time as I get more help. I attached the link of my sample module and it works perfectly except that whenever I restart TW, the module doesn't seem to appear after launch, even if it was the bible selected before I closed the program.
